Why this best mother Award?

We, being the supporter of women's economic empowerment, are acknowldging and recognizing  excellence, hard work and dedication of all those mothers who have done the proper rearing of their children. The motherhood is a hardwork, sacrifice and commitment in life and we recognize such qualities.
 

When is the Best Mother Award ceremony and where is the venue?

The best mother awards ceremony is scheduled for a specific day and eve i.e. Mother's Day, the event will be conducted at one of the five star hotel in the heart of the city. The event timing is between 04.00 pm to 06.00 pm.
 

When do I have to enter my nominations by?

Nominations closes 04th May 2019.
 

Who can nominate for the awards?

Nominations are welcome from all childrens from all sectors, including stundets, corporate, private sector and state and central government. All nominators should make sure their nomination meets the eligibility criteria for the award.
 

Can a mother nominate herself?

Yes. We also encourage all individuals to nominate themselves for the individual provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

 

Can a nominator or nominee nominate for multiple awards?

An individual can only be nominated for one individual award. An organization can nominate for multiple awards provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
 

What happens next? How will I know if I have reached the next stage.?

All nominees will be notified of the outcome of their nomination through the judging process.
 

Who judges the nominations / entries?

A panel of independent judges from consultancy, in house, academic and media backgrounds, chosen for their experience and expertise, will assess all entries.
 

If someone from our organization is a judge, can we still send nomination?

Yes. But the judge will not be allowed to score your entry.

 

How long is the judging process.?

Nominations closes by 4th May 2019 which is 8 days prior to the scheduled date of the award ceremony. The judging process will take approximately 2 days. Shortlisted entries who have scored 100 and above points will be recommended to the MIC Board and an intimation will be sent to all shortlisted individuals.
 

Can I request feedback on my nomination if I am not successful?

Yes, the shortlisted entries will get the feedback. And those who are not successful can get the feedback.
 

What can I expect to win or receive?

The award winners will receive award memento, citation, high-tea and the prestige associated with this. The excellence of the year award  is not a direct entry into the excellence awards and doesn’t articulate to the national awards.
 

As a winner will I be asked to participate in any promotion of the excellence awards?

Yes. Winners will become ambassadors for the excellence awards. Your story and photo will be used to promote and publications will be sued by media outlets.
 

Can I sue the best mother award seal for my promotional activities?

Yes. Being the recipient of the award you can use the award of excellence winner seal for your own promotional purposes. But the permission will be needed to sought from MIC.
 

Can I interact with the fellow guests / awardees for networking purpose?

Yes. You can have interaction for networking purpose with the fellow guests and awardees during the break period or after ceremony at high-tea/dessert.
 

Are you providing any lanyard/badges for the awardees?

Yes. The guests has to collect their lanyards badges and wear it during the entire event and it also makes networking easier.
 

Do you have reserved table facility?

Yes. The front row tables are reserved and the table space in the front row or reserved table can be purchased at the event and are subject to the availability.
 

How is the seating arrangement at venue?

The seating arrangement is pre-planned and front row tables in the venue is reserved. All others tables spaces can be selected by the guests of their own or we can plan a table on their behalf. The guests can purchase a table space at the front row table as per their options and subject to the availability. The guests are advised to take their allotted seats to ensure us to know the final guest list and their seat.
 

Are there any speaker in the event ?

Yes. The event will have relevant inspiring speaker at the venue. This could be someone who has won the award previously, or who is closely linked to the content of the awards. The main speaker will be the chief guest and the awards felicitation of the committee.
 

Is there any event director ?

Yes. There will be an event director, who is likeable, charismatic and knowledgeable to co-ordinate the event. The event director will provide narrative and structure, as well as on-going activities throughout the event.
 

Are you hosting any question and answer session with the panel of chief guests or awards felicitation committee?

Ye. Once the awards have been presented, we also host a short Questions & Answers on stage with the panel of chief guests. This will give the audience insight into what the award felicitation committee / chief guests are looking for, why they think the winners deserve their award.

How do I nominate my company?

The deadline for Best Mother Awards and Best Companies for Working Mothers is 6^th May 2019 at 5:00 pm. Nominations received after this date and incomplete nominations will not be considered.
