Research has shown clearly that smoking is harmful to health, yet many people continue to smoke despite this scientific evidence. This behavior can be attributed to a variety of factors, including addiction, social influence, and the belief that research is incomplete, or short-term benefits outweigh long-term risks. This means people are going against scientific research of scientists also, because they all are knowledgeable and scientific. They have become so much experts in road safety, they have stopped gaining expertise. But the sustainable future belongs to those who are self-regulated and lifelong learners.
Daily deaths caused by road traffic injuries (RTIs) is a global issue. All road users are claiming that they are well experienced road users and others are inexperienced. All road users are experts in road safety, but every day around 500 road users are dying in India in RTIs, it means their current intelligence is inadequate, all road users need supplementary intelligence.
A global validation challenge a signature initiative which is designed to require all road users to self-validate, self-introspect and self-persuade their deficiencies. Admitting flaws is a super step towards growth and authenticity. It demonstrates integrity, accountability and willingness to learn and improve for a sustainable future. If you are not participating in the process of self-validation, self-introspection and self-persuasion then you will will never come to know your flaws and you will remain the same. You cannot become what you want by remaining the same. If you want sustainable road safety then you need to upgrade to next level.
Awareness campaign are not working and if plan A is not working plan B must be used. If we keep doing what we have always done we will keep doing getting what we have always got. People are rejecting any upgradation and updation advise in road safety because they have considered their intelligence as the ultimate. Intelligence is infinite not limited or ultimate.
Road users can add supremacy in their daily commute and become super expert for sustainable road safety.
