Mother India Care MIC has planned to set up chain of Divine Grain Banks DGBs in villages across India. Each DGB will have state-of-the-art technology and will store grains, pulses & vegetables. MIC has planned to set up chain of DGBs with the capacity of 50MT to 5000MT depending on the crops in villages. MIC has planned 5000 DGBs in Rural India - Real India one in every Taluka and with the public support we are sure we will achieve this target well before the set time frame. The project is designed in support of Sustainable Socio-economic Development Revolution started by Mother India Care. Farmers of the same village or nearby villages can deposit / store their produce in the Divine Grain Bank DGB and their produces will be sold in the market at better price. Thus farmers will get better price. While sowing and harvesting the labors will be chanting divine mantra. The villagers will be a member in these DGBs and getting host of benefits. A grain saved is a grain produced. Every year around 20MT grains are getting destroyed because of the lack of this storage facilities. The project will save all such wastage and improve the life of the villagers. It will reduce the migration and increase the interest to do more in agriculture which is a backbone of our economy. Our farmers continue to remain poor even though they take risk to cultivate high value fruits and vegetables year after year. Farmers are struggling since the independence and still struggling. Introduction of Divine Grain Bank facility will help them in removing the risk of distress sale and simultaneously will ensure better returns. The lack of cold storage facilities is one of the main bottlenecks in tapping the potential. The cold storages, which are available in the States, are mostly to store single commodity like potato, which results in poor capacity utilization. Introduction of Divine Grain Bank chain facilities in all the states can prove to be a boon for the farmers. Resources: Public Contribution Selling Membership Promoters Contribution Funding / Loans MIC is in the process of identifying more and more locations in villages across India and have plan to set up DGBs with PUF panels and solar energy powered. Right now we have identified and earmarked 5 locations in India to set up DGBs. We are also building our network across India. We have launched membership across the nation. The members (farmers) are entitled to book the chamber or recks and deposit/store the divine grain on rental basis. They can sell directly to consumers or they can mandate the bank to sell (not less than minimum support price) and give them the cash after deducting the rental from the sale proceeds. The bank will generate the demand from the consumers and inform their members (farmers) in advance and the member farmers can sell their grains to divine grain banks. The inspector of DGB can reject the divine grain of lower quality. The cleaning, sorting and packing will be done at the Divine Grain Bank. The members (consumers) are entitled to pre-book to buy on special price, and can buy the divine grain from the bank at normal price. The divine grain supply will be commenced from April 2025 onwards. We all are having negatively charged foodgrains & negativity is ruling us.
