About World Day of Remembrance - Tribute Event

We, at Mother India Care (MIC), a non - profitable and charitable trust are promoting road safety for prevention of crashes so as to ensure safer roads as Indian roads are the most deadliest roads in the world. We are now heading towards globalization; and also promoting United Nations World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR) and this year we are commemorating on 17th November, 2019; an event with the endorsement of World Health Organization (WHO) - an independent body of United Nations Organization (UNO)

This day is observed to be commemorated to keep alive the memory of our near and dear innocent one's who lost their lives in road mishaps. It is the ceremony to solemnize as paying tribute to the impeccable lives deceased or impaired in the road crashes and also to their families and friends; who are deeply affected and also to honor and felicitate the work of the devoted Emergency Crew, Traffic Police and Medical Professionals who regularly deal with the harrowing fallout of the fatal or injurious victims of road crashes and also to felicitate good Samaritans who voluntarily come forward to save lives of road accident victims. The day is thus acknowledged on the Third Sunday of November every year. We also promote ethics and excellence and felicitating the all those individuals who have contributed to the society and nation with their distinguished services and most outstanding work & achievements.

Our organization has been promoting and encouraging Road Safety Awareness amongst the general mass. We are promoting this world day of remembrance and observing the day provides an opportunity to draw the public's attention to road traffic crashes, their consequences and costs. On this memorial event occassion we, honour those serving and remember those lost.

The other event highlights include a seminar on road safety & post crash care, so as to encourage road users to get involved in The National Project "Road Safety is Life Safety, to achieve a noble goal of Zero Death & No serious injuries in road crash in India.

The Event will not only observe the presence of eminent and dignified personalities from Indian Army officers, including central and state Government officers.

Therefore, if you wish to come back home safely everyday, if u hope to de-accelerate the growing rate of the road accidents, if you hope road rage incidents should be minimised, if you hope timely help during the golden hours post mishaps, and if you hope and pray that this tragedy never happens to you, and your family, relatives, friends and community then please come ahead and participate in this glorified event to ensure safer roads and make it indelible and paying an undying timeless homage to the innocent lives lost.

Our focal and supreme vision is to enable safer roads and build a safer India; an endeavor of Mother India Care.
