Mother India Care, has been promoting and encouraging Road Safety Awareness program through various events and initiatives amongst the general mass. MIC is going to observe National Road Safety Week 2020 between 11th feb to 11th Jan 2020. The 31st National Road Safety Week theme is "Sadak Suraksha-Jeevan Raksha".
The week long event which has been endorsed by the Government of India, will have the focus on time for action, speed and its risk factors.
We are having slowest riding competetion on the track near manyata tech park. The two wheeler riders can participate in the this competetion which is being conducted to promote slow riding skill which is a need of the hour. We are seeing traffic congestion and which is increasing every day due to the more and more motorization and the road infrastructure is not increasing at par. The riders of this competition "Slow Riding Competition" can register online and the first three winners will get the award.
We are collecting details of the people who have come forward voluntarily to help the road accident victims and such people are called as good Samaritans and we would like to provide them reward and recognition.
We are also providing training to public and inviting them to come forward to get the training to provide the Pre First Aid Care to the road accident victims till the emergency response team arrives at the accident spot. In the training we provide tips to people how to give the pre first aid treatment post crash to victims. Because normally people offer drinking water to accident victims and that becomes the reason of death. We are also providing yoga sessions to avoid/prevent road accidents.
We are approaching stakeholders, transport department, government agencies, automobile industry leaders, fleet owners, organizations and individuals to come forward and join us to prevent accidents and save lives of daily road accident victims.
The National Road Safety Week 2020 seeks to increase better understanding of the dangers of speed and generate action on measures to address speed, thereby saving lives on the roads.
